Edgar Hovhannisyan 95․“Hover” choir
On September 23 at 19:00, the “Hover” State Chamber Choir and the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory invite you to the Komitas Chamber Music Hall for a special concert celebrating the 95th anniversary of the great Armenian composer, Edgar Hovhannisyan — Honored Art Worker of the Armenian SSR, People’s Artist of the Armenian SSR and the USSR.
The program will include Hovhannisyan’s Piano Quintet, Sonata–Epitaph for Cello and Piano, Piano Preludes, and a selection of choral works.
Performers: students of the Yerevan State Conservatory’s String and Piano Departments, the “Komitas” Choir (conductor: Gayane Sahakyan), and the “Hover” State Chamber Choir (conductor: Sona Hovhannisyan).
