Marjan Avetisyan

Marjan Avetisyan is an Armenian actress of theatre and screen. She graduated from the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema and has been associated with the Sos Sargsyan Hamazgayin State Theatre. She became widely known to television audiences through the lead role in the Armenian TV series “Anna.” Her film work includes “The Earthquake” (“Zemletryasenie”), directed by Sarik Andreasyan, a feature centered on the 1988 Spitak earthquake. Avetisyan has also appeared in the television projects “Crazy Angel” and “Ghosts.” Her career spans stage performance, serial television, and feature films, with a public profile shaped largely by dramatic screen roles in the 2010s. These projects established her as a recognizable presence in contemporary Armenian popular culture without separating her work from her theatre background.
